Adult Formation 9 am

Alleluia. Christ is risen. The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!

We have passed through death into life and will spend the next 50 days reflecting on what it means to be People of the Resurrection. To complement our reflections on the Stations of the Cross, we will spend the next several weeks reflecting on the Stations of the Resurrection, or Via Lucis, which was developed in 1988 by Father Sabino Palumbieri in Rome. Father Palumbieri believed that the traditional Stations of the Cross did not express the fullness of the Paschal Mystery. The Stations of the Resurrection allow us to lay claim to the power of the resurrection and the ongoing presence of God in our lives and in the world around us. These two practices help us travel from Way of Sorrow to the Way of Light, from sadness to joy, from bondage to freedom, from death to life.

On Sundays from 9 to 10 am we will explore the Stations of the Resurrection—especially how the Way of Light helps us recognize the presence of the Risen Christ in our lives Please join us in Hamilton Hall as we continue on this journey!
